The Aspen 26.07 release is live. It includes the following features and fixes.
Full-width theme
You can now set your web catalog theme to full-width to display well on larger screens. To turn this on, staff with the OPAC Administrator permissions can turn on the new setting under Themes > Make Content Full Width. This should be used in conjunction with the setting Make Header & Footer Full Width. You can view a full-width theme in the consortium catalog.
Backend improvements to the app
There are several planned improvements over the next few releases aimed at improving app speed and performance. This release moved the app to the Gluestack UI to reduce components that have to be loaded when the app is opened. The app may not look different, but this was a large change - if you notice any issues, please open a ticket.
Bug fixes
- In some cases, all records within a grouped work showed the same description and the description of an actual record did not show in the record view -- this is now fixed.
- The "More options..." popup was failing for facets that only in the Advanced Search - this is now fixed.
