Holds

Cancel, suspend, and change your pickup location for holds in the mobile app. You can also check the status of your holds.

Cancel holds

If you no longer need an item you placed on hold, you can cancel your hold at any time.
If you have trouble canceling a hold, contact your home library.

  1. Select My Account from the home screen.
  2. Select Holds from the menu options.
  3. Select the item you want to cancel.
  4. Select the Cancel Hold button.
  5. Select Yes to confirm the cancellation.

Suspend holds

Delay when your hold will be filled in advance. Use this option when you know you’ll be unable to pickup items during an extended time period.
If you have trouble suspending a hold, contact your home library.

  1. Select My Account from the home screen.
  2. Select Holds from the menu options.
  3. Select the item you want to suspend.
  4. Select Suspend Hold.
  5. Below Suspend Start, Choose Select Date.
  6. Use the calendar widget to select your start date.
  7. Below Suspend End, Choose Select Date.
  8. Use the calendar widget to select your end date.
  9. Select Suspend Hold.

Resume holds

You can resume holds before your suspension end date, if needed.

  1. Select My Account from the home screen.
  2. Select Holds from the menu options.
  3. Select the hold you want to resume.
  4. Select the Resume Hold button.

Hold pickup location

If your library participates in Pickup Anywhere, you can choose to pickup items at other participating SWAN libraries.
If you have trouble changing your pickup location, contact your home library.

  1. Select My Account from the home screen.
  2. Select Holds from the menu options.
  3. Select the item you want to change the pickup location for.
  4. Select the Change Pickup Location button.
  5. Select a library from the menu under Select Pickup Location.
  6. Select Change Pickup Location.

Hold status

Check the status of your holds to see if they’re ready for pickup, suspended, placed, or waiting to be filled.
If you have questions about your hold statuses, contact your home library.

  1. Select My Account from the home screen.
  2. Select Holds from the menu options.
  3. The hold status will appear under the items title.

Managing all & multiple holds

For your convenience you can cancel, suspend, and change your pickup location for all or multiple holds at once. When using these options, the same action will be performed on the holds you select.

All holds

  1. Select My Account from the home screen.
  2. Select Holds from the menu options.
  3. Select the All Holds button.
  4. Select the action you want to perform on all of your holds.

Multiple holds

  1. Select My Account from the home screen.
  2. Select Holds from the menu options.
  3. Choose the Select button.
  4. Select the action you want to perform on some of your holds.
  5. Use the check boxes to select your holds.
  6. Confirm the action.
