The Aspen 25.09 release is live. This release includes the following enhancements, as well as many performance updates for the catalog and app.
Recycle bin
If you delete lists, placards, or images from Aspen, you will now have the option by default to move the item to a recycle bin or permanently delete.
Library staff with Aspen Administration permissions can restore from the recycle bin, in Aspen Administration > System Administration > Recycle Bin
New display for grouped work formats (beta)
This release includes the option to turn on a new display for grouped work formats. At this time, SWAN is not yet turning this display on and is working with our Discovery and User Experience Advisory group to identify enhancements and test with patrons. The new display would condense the formats into a horizontal scroll, similar to what you see in the app, and individual search results would take up less space when scrolling through results. We expect to enable this new feature in the coming months, following testing and additional enhancements.
