L2 Service Impact on Thursday 10/2 - 10/3/25

The RAILS datacenter will be changing internet service providers on the evening of Thursday, October 2nd. While expected downtime is brief, the service impact may persist through the following day on Friday, October 3rd. 

Out of an abundance of caution, we want to alert SWAN library staff that the following services would be impacted due to their reliance on the Library Learning (L2) platform maintained by RAILS. 

SWAN services affected would be:

  • SWAN website login (reminder: majority of documentation is available without a login)
  • SWAN Community Forums login
  • Ticketing portal (Halo) - but you can still email help@swanlibraries.net 

Not affected:

  • Aspen catalog and app
  • WorkFlows, BLUEcloud Analytics
  • Boundless checkouts in the catalog or app
  • SWAN Online learning
