Indexing issues in Aspen

Changes to item availability (checked out and on shelf status) may not appear throughout the day, and changes to records or new records may not appear. The indexes in the catalog are currently running slow due to changes to the Hoopla APIs. We expect the indexes to catch up over the next 24-48 hours. Search, Holds, My Account, and other functionality are not impacted.

As of noon, our indexes have been running normally following a restart. We will continue to monitor over the coming days.

We are again experiencing slowness with our Aspen indexes. Our support vendor is restarting the indexes and investigating why our indexes are slowing down again.

A full nightly index ran successfully, and our regular exports have been processing normally as of 9:30AM this morning. 

Our regular indexes are running as expected. We are going to leave this issue open to monitor our full index that runs overnight/early morning to ensure indexes are back on track.
