The Aspen 25.12 release is live. This release includes the following fixes and enhancements.
API updates for Hoopla
Midwest Tape and Aspen developers worked together to improve the APIs for Hoopla, paving the way for Hoopla Flex integration and more automated syncing of libraries' Hoopla settings. SWAN will work with our support vendor, Grove, to thoroughly test the new APIs and ensure they're working smoothly. Stay tuned for updates on the rollout and Hoopla Flex integration.
Year in Review for 2025
The Year-in-Review is now available and live. Patrons will see their Year in Review if they have checkout history enabled and they have checked out titles in 2025. Library staff may not see the Year In Review in masquerade mode. Patrons must directly log in to their account to activate it.
New locations priority
We now have the ability to show new locations above non-new locations in the copies list.
100d appears for author display
The 100d field is now part of the author display, which should help in author searching.
More Details tab contains additional languages and titles
The More Details tab within individual record pages (with /Record/ in the URL) now show additional languages for text and for dialogue. Additionally, it will display Other titles that appear on the item.
