The Aspen 26.01 release is live. This release includes the following features and fixes.
Web catalog
Better "clear filters" functionality
This release includes usability improvements for removing applied filters and facets.
Better sorting of non-fiction editions
The catalog now more consistently sorts individual editions in non-fiction grouped works by date.
Palace project indexing improvements
This release included several improvements to speed up indexing for the Palace Project integration. However, additional improvements are needed in the Palace Project API for availability to be as current as we would like. With the improvements, availability updates take about 30 minutes.
At this time, the Palace Project integration is not live in our production catalog.
Performance for My Account features
This release includes some performance improvements to my account features including speedier updates for placing, freezing, and canceling holds.
App
Note: The iOS update will be available Jan 22nd due to a delay in app store approval.
New design for browse categories in the app
The app now features a new display for your browse categories. A "View More" option appears after the first seven titles, more easily directing patrons to view the full list or search results. Sub-categories are also scrollable buttons, more closely mirroring the display of subcategories in the web catalog.
List groups for the app
The list group feature in the web catalog now displays in the app. You can read more about this feature in the documentation.
Fix for checkout history
Checkout history previously did not display beyond the first page of results in the app. This is now fixed.
