Notes
It was the user groups final meeting of 2025. Sign-up form for the E-Resource Working Group 2026 meetings was shared with the group.
Olivia presented information and a demo of the Palace Project Marketplace and app for the user group. After the presentation, the group engaged in a discussion and Olivia created a document available in the E-Resource Working Group SharePoint site of those follow-up questions to bring back to the folks at Palace Project.
Olivia shared the new and improved, publicly available, Catalog Help page of the SWAN site with the user group. This new section of the SWAN site replaces the old patron site. Olivia also shared the new layout for the E-Resource Troubleshooting for Library Staff on the SWAN site. This page is made up of common scenarios and questions that library staff have asked. This documentation is a standing topic for the group and they are encouraged to continue adding to both Catalog Help and Troubleshooting for Library Staff.
Olivia closed out the meeting by giving a brief overview of both EBSCO Experience Manager and EBSCO Publication Finder. Olivia included instructions on how to sign up for EEM access if the group is interested and what things can be done. Olivia shared that Publication Finder is customizable and if members are interested in using it, or hiding it, to reach out to SWAN for assistance.
