Notes

The committee met to finalize the 2026 project focus, with members encouraged to consider what is truly missing from current efforts before voting. The group selected "Getting patrons to use electronic resources" as the project topic. A KWL activity in Miro surfaced key challenges around patron awareness, inconsistent platform login requirements, and technology hesitancy, and led to three actionable ideas: hosting a program with a hands-on login help session, building a landing page centralizing e-resource links and marketing materials, and adding catalog placards to connect patrons with relevant online resources at the moment of need. The group also discussed new e-resource additions. The group also began a conversation about configuring the patron purchase suggestion form in Aspen for e-book and e-audio requests. The next meeting is scheduled for September 24, 2026.
