Information on the annual process for self-nominating for the SWAN Board and the election.
SWAN will seek self-nominations and the election for the following positions on our board:
Terms for the positions begin on July 1, 2026 and end on June 30, 2029.
The SWAN Board is comprised of seven library directors/administrators elected at-large from the libraries in SWAN. Board meetings are held monthly on a Friday of each month at 9:30a.m.
Statements of interest that appear on the election ballot will be collected via a web form.

The SWAN Board election will run from Monday, May 4, 2026 through May 22, 2026. Individual e-ballots will be sent to library directors/administrators who will cast a single vote on behalf of the library.
Please contact Aaron Skog directly at 630-326-7022 or aaron@swanlibraries.net if you have not received the login information. Libraries can cast a single vote for up to three candidates that have self-nominated.
